FINAL THOUGHTS

Ah, this season. Probably my very least favorite season to watch. The drama on the show was very boring, and I couldn’t stand these racial barriers that separated the girls. This is one of the ANTM cycles that I don’t continuously re-watch, because it isn’t very amusing. The contestants and photoshoots, on a whole, were a bit disappointing too. For me, the girls – in terms of looks – were either really, really strong (ie: Natalie, Allison, Aminat, Teyona), or really, really weak (ie: Tahlia, Kortnie, Isabella). And for the photoshoots – there were some really good shoots this season, like the exotic birds photoshoot and the powder shoot, but there were some really awful shoots as well, like that tourist beach shoot. The bootlist was a bit messy, also, though I don’t think it was that bad, with the exception of maybe Tahlia lasting a million weeks longer than she should have, and Aminat undeservingly making top three. At the end of the day, the girl who was crowned the winner of this cycle was quite good, I believe. I do find her generally underrated by the public, though far too overrated by the judges, but with that aside, let us finally finish this season!

1) Allison (2.7) 4/2/6/2/2/3/4/2/2/1/3/1

Allison was most definitely the most consistent girl of the season. She didn’t have many absolutely stunning pictures, I don’t think, but she always delivered a good picture. There’s no doubt about that. Her exotic bird picture is possibly my very favorite picture of the season, actually. Having said that, I do find her a bit overrated. Yes, I stanned for Allison a hell lot during the actual airing of the cycle, but now that I’m going back and thinking about everything, I don’t love her as much as I used to. She used to be my winner of this season easily, though that was probably mostly from all the frustration of her losing to Teyona. Now that some years have passed, I do think Allison deserved runner-up, because Natalie did have the portfolio of the season for me. If she did win after all, we wouldn’t even have seen her on all-stars, so I’m honestly perfectly fine with Allison getting runner-up. She has a very interesting, unique look, her body could improve a tad bit, but she was practically the full package, despite not being as vocal as some of the girls this season.

2) Natalie (2.9) 1/5/7/1/6/1/1/1

Love this girl so much. There’s really no flaw when it comes to this girl. Really, I like every single feature about her. Her body, first of all, is stunning. She’s like 6’0, her legs are never ending, and she just super toned and fit. Her face is also wonderful. I wouldn’t say she had the most interesting face this season, but that’s still a model’s face. Her practically flawless stats, as well as her gorgeous face, allowed for her to produce some of the strongest pictures this season. During her stay, she either did absolutely amazing, or rather mediocre, though. Hitting it out of the park about 60 percent of the time really isn’t that bad, however, because that’s basically saying every other picture of her’s is going to be breathtaking, so I don’t mind the weaker pictures in her ANTM portfolio. Yeah, but getting five FCOs in just eight weeks is a huge accomplishment, and I really think she should have won.

3) Teyona (3.6) 6/1/11/3/3/5/3/3/1/3/2/2

Another fairly consistent girl! Teyona, for me, was a great winner. Sure, she’s not my choice for the win, and yes, she may have been a bit overrated by the judges, but she still did a pretty great job all throughout the cycle. She’s far from the amazingness of Natalie and Allison, I will say, but I do like her. Not her personality exactly, but I really appreciate both her face and body. She has one of the more interesting faces this season, and while he thighs looked a bit big (namely on final runway), her body was really nice too. She basically always translated her beauty into pictures, with the exception of week three. That was truly her one bad picture, however. All of her other shots range from okay to stunning. I love her beach and lighting oneself pictures. She landed in the top three majority of the cycle, and for that, she earns a third place finish. Her CoverGirl shot was good, but I like Allison and Natalie more.

4) Aminat (4.7) 3/10/3/5/4/7/6/6/3/4/1

LOVE THIS GIRL…..’s look. Her performance on the show was not very good, however. As well as that, she didn’t have a very rootable personality. She wasn’t exactly the villain of season 12, that goes to Sandra, but she did get herself into some drama during the season. Personality aside, I love her look an exceptional amount. Her face is gorgeous. Big, beautiful lips, sparkling eyes, radiant skin. Also, that body slays me constantly. She’s 6’2 for Godsake, she’s legit a giant in comparison to majority of the girls this season, and I absolutely adore that. She had so many amazing things going for her, but she hardly ever delivered good pictures on the show. Her CoverGirl picture is by far my favorite picture of her’s, but that’s the only time she took a standout picture. I’d keep her a bit longer than most, I believe, because I still do see a lot of potential in her, but top six is as far as I would have taken her. That’d be her third time in the bottom two, and as cliche as it is, three strikes and you’re out.

5) Celia (4.8) 10/6/2/8/5/2/5/4/4/2

From the girl with possibly the most potential this season to the girl with probably the least potential of the season. I’m sorry to all you Celia fans, but what the hell do you see in this girl? Half the time, I think people just stan for Celia, because she was Allison’s best friend on season 12. I get liking someone by association, but why do so many people absolutely love her? I just don’t get it. Whatever, rant aside, Celia, for me, had possibly the weakest look of the bunch. She constantly – constantly meaning in every single picture – looked so damn old. She’s 25, which is already pushing it a bit in the modeling world, but she looks 30-35. Sorry to say, but she does. She also has a very boring look, with no stunning, interesting features. She’s very average looking. Her body was the only thing going for her this season, I believe. She’s tall, one of the tallest ones, and her proportions are relatively good. But that’s it. I guess I’d take her to the top five, because other girls’ weaker performances saved her until then.

6) London (4.9) 2/3/5/6/7/4/7

Another girl I don’t really understand the love for. I get it, London is a super nice girl. Her portfolio in the beginning half of the competition was possibly the best one there. But c’mon – what is so special about this girl? Her body, first of all, just got worse and worse throughout the competition. She gained probably 20 pounds during her time in the competition, and that’s not acceptable. Her body in the beginning of the competition, to begin with, was far from good, and it just got worse and worse and worse. Plus, it’s not like she has an absolutely beautiful face to save her from her sub par body. Yes, she’s a pretty girl. Yes, she’s a nice girl. That’s it, though. Once she started gaining weight, she seemed to been getting less confident, resulting in worse and worse pictures. I definitely think she was cut in the rest spot considering everything.

7) Fo (5.4) 9/7/4/10/1/6/2/5/5

Firstly, Fo, surprisingly, was the girl this season that got the most work post-show. Sure, it’s commercial work that she’s been doing, and not editorial work, but I still give her credit for continuing modeling. I’ve seen her in many commercials personally, as well as many beauty campaigns. I’m proud of her, for sure. Get that money girl. Now, having said that, Fo is highly limited to modeling. She’s pretty short, sometimes I think even shorter than 5’7. Her look is very pretty; she’s adorable, but that’s about it. Her portfolio on the show proved that she was a bit limited to some kinds of photoshoots. She definitely rocked the powder photoshoot, and did fairly well in the wrapped in wire shoot, but that’s the only times she shined. She delivered some of the worst pictures this season, the beach and immigrants one. She was probably the most inconsistent girl of the season. I’d most likely end up Clarking her directly after the powder shoot, for that basic ass commercial she delivered.

8) Sandra (5.6) 5/4/1/9/9

Ashy knees! Yuck, yuck, yuck. Haha, that aside though, I really liked Sandra. She was like the only one this season who brought the fun kind of drama, instead of just constant bitching and whining. Her personality was one of my favorites this season. I guess you could say you either love Sandra or hate her, and I think it’s pretty evident that I really like Sandra. I do think she was cut way too soon. I couldn’t stand how underrated she was in the first two weeks by the judges. I’m glad she was able to get a first call-out during her stay on the show, however. That did follow by two less than good pictures though. However, unlike the judges, I wouldn’t have eliminated her the two weeks she performance subpar, because the amount of potential Sandra has is INSANE. I’m probably the only one who thinks this, but Sandra deserved a place in the top four, I believe. I love this picture of her, by the way. Absolutely beautiful.

9) Nijah (8.0) 7/8/9

Nijah is kinda like a watered down Sandra, now that I’m thinking about it. And that’s not just because they’re both of the same ethnicity. Sandra has spice, could take a really stunning picture, and Nijah didn’t have those two qualities. She was one of the more bland looking girls, I presume. Originally, I did think she had a ton more potential, but really, she’s just a tall girl. That’s it. None of her pictures of the show were bad, but none of them really interested me any. She constantly delivered mediocre pictures. Such a pity really, because Nijah did have one of the best bodies of the season. I just wish she was a bit more photogenic. If I were to find a place to cut her, it’d probably be during the immigrants photoshoot.

10) Kortnie (8.0) 8/9/8/7

Kortnie who? Legit, forgot completely about this girl. She has nothing interesting about her. She’s the absolute definition of a pedestrian. The only thing she has going for her is her height, that’s it. Her face is so average looking, it’s not even funny. And her body is, well, plus-sized, so her being a bit bigger than most models is going to limit her working, as well as her bland face. I have no clue what Tyra saw in this girl, honestly. Pretty sure she just chose Kortnie, because she’s representin’ big girls. Couldn’t they find a more interesting plus-sized girl to represent this cycle though? This kind of stuff is what gives plus-sized girls bad raps on ANTM. I guess I’d cut her during the powder photoshoot, since she never delivered anything heinous while on the show.

11) Tahlia (8.8) 11/12/10/4/8/8

Derp, derp. Yikes, this picture is so awful. It’s actually so funny to look at. It sort of mimics how poor her performance on the show was, actually, haha. Yeah, Tahlia was easily my least favorite of the season. I didn’t like a single thing about her. In the beginning of the season, when first watching, I did like her. Her story about her burn scars was very endearing and I did feel bad for her, but c’mon – did Tyra actually think she was a model?? Literally, the only reason she got to the top eight was because of her burn scars, and I just think that’s wrong. Tahlia’s body and face simply aren’t modelesque. She’s borderline plus-size, I believe, and has no strong, interesting facial features. The only thing that makes Tahlia different than most girls is her burn scars, that’s it, she’s not at all special. Not even in the slightest. Second boot, for sure.

12) Jessica (11.5) 12/11

Oh, Jessica. The girl who thought she was all that. For me, Jessica isn’t as pretty as she thought she was during the show. I think there are many prettier girls that her this season, and her coining herself as the prettiest one this season really bothered me. For that alone, I really couldn’t stand her. Her portfolio on the show being so weak also didn’t help anything. Neither of her pictures interested me in the slightest. She did really bad in both of the photoshoots. Her features weren’t at all defined, and I think she needs to lose a few pounds to tone her body up a little. She’s just not that photogenic, and that’s the end of that. She was cut at the right spot, but I probably would have spared her once more, so that I could get rid of Tahlia ASAP.

13) Isabella (13.0) 13

I have hardly anything to say about this girl. She was very irrelevant. I think she’s one of the most forgettable first boots ANTM has ever had. Her look is super bland, first of all. She looks like the classic looking American citizen. She has no interesting features about herself. Her body, also, wasn’t very impressive. She’s tall, definitely, but you need more than just height to be a good model. And if you were to go back to the episode she was eliminated on, and rewatched the runway challenge they did, her runway walk was horrendous. She has literally no chance at being a model, and that’s shown by her lack of post-show work. Good first boot; I agree completely with her going first.

WEEK 11

The final runway of the season was okay. I liked where the models were walking and I think both girls did fairly good jobs. The outfits they were wearing were pretty neat looking, too. The thing I didn’t care for was that random ass mud, oil bath thing at the end of the runway. It was just so weird. Like, you’d never see something like that at the end of a runway show, so I’m not even going to comment on that, lmao. I will, however, be commenting on what I thought about the winner and runner-up in their respective write-ups, by the way, like I did in previous final runways.

1) Allison (Runner-Up)

Allison not winning was sort of like the judges saying, “how in the world do we try and accomplish losing 25 percent of our viewers”? Haha, yeah, Allison’s loss resulted in 1 million people not watching season 13, which is hilarious. Of course, I do think she should have won over Teyona, but she wasn’t my winner, though we’ll get to that in the final recap. As far as her walk went, I liked it. It was very playful, and I thought the playfulness really matched the outfits. I really loved when she played along with Ms. Jay and danced with her too. She looked adorable all throughout. It seemed like she was having a really good time.

2) Teyona (Winner)

Teyona’s win was deserved, in my opinion. I know a lot of people disagree with me on that, but she’s a pretty decent winner. Far from the worst, for sure. The biggest reason she’s so hated on is because she beat out Allison, and I just think that’s stupid. It’s wasn’t her decision to win over Allison or something. The public should be frustrated with the judges, not Teyona. That tangent aside, Teyona’s walk was nice, but I got bored very quickly. She did basically the same thing between both of her walks. Her hips moved really weird-like, I though. Plus, she wasn’t having any fun at all. I get that she was probably trying to concentrate, but she should have been a bit more happy or something, especially considering the outfits.

WEEK 11

CoverGirl time! Damn, I just flew through four weeks like it was nothing. I’d probably be done every single NTM cycle if I decided to update this often every day, haha. Well, if I did, I’d probably have no life, but I digress. This is the final week of the competition, and I couldn’t be more happy. The top three did a CoverGirl photoshoot, in which they do practically every season, and then the judges choose two girls to proceed to the runway show. For now, let’s just focus on the photoshoot though. I really, really liked this CoverGirl photoshoot. All the girls delivered really strong pictures. I had a really hard time ranking these pictures from best to worst, honestly. I was having an even harder time granting one of these pictures last place though. All the girls just did so great. The girl who did the best for me, though, was the one who was eliminated. A bit unfortunate, but similar to Celia’s case last week, she deserved to go based on overall performance.

1) Aminat (Eliminated)

Perfect. This is exactly what I wish Aminat looked like since the very start of the competition. It’s super upsetting we had to wait eleven weeks for Aminat to deliver such a stellar, but I mean, it’s better late than never. I’m sure I’m the only one thinking this, but I was a bit upset by Aminat’s elimination. Trust me, I didn’t like her personality that much, but she’s just so gorgeous, and that alone made me want to root for her hardcore. Her having the strongest picture of the week, also, didn’t help me deal with her elimination either. What’s not to love about this picture though? Aminat looks beautiful. Her skin is absolute perfection, the glimmer of happiness peaking through her eyes is something I’ve barely seen from Aminat. Her hair and eyes look stunning, also. There’s really no fault to this picture whatsoever.

2) Teyona

Another really strong picture. Also, another picture I can’t really find any negatives with. I think the fact Aminat actually delivered a strong picture is what made me rank her first, because this picture of Teyona is certainly just as strong as her’s. Teyona’s skin, just Aminat’s, looks great. Not as radiant, I don’t think, but still really nice. I love how pulled back her features appear too. Her face is very interesting looking, and it’s very obvious here. Her face is aesthetically perfect. There’s really no flaws about this picture, though there’s not really something that sets this picture apart from any other CoverGirl ad. I know, I know, I’m pretty rather harsh critiquing this picture, but I just think Teyona could have delivered something even more stunning.

3) Allison

Worst of the week, easily, though not at all bad. I actually still relatively like this picture. It doesn’t really match the cliche of a CoverGirl ad, and I kind of dig that. However, this picture being so different from the other two this week is something I don’t exactly like. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about taking risks and such, but I don’t exactly care for unnecessary risks, and Allison showing off so much neck is a bit unnecessary for me. I don’t think she needed to lengthen her neck so much. I get why she did it, but it doesn’t really improve this picture any. That aside, I think Allison’s face here looks really good. She looks pretty, and she’s wearing the makeup quite well. I like her jawline, and of course, her eyes. But yeah, shorten the neck a little, and this picture would have been a lot better.

WEEK 10

Best photoshoot of the season directly after the worst photoshoot of the season. How ’bout that? Hah. I flove this photoshoot so much. Probably my absolute favorite photoshoot that Tyra’s done on the show. Every single thing about this shoot is perfection. The setting is so interesting and cool. The makeup is very realistic. The big hair looks so playful yet fitting. Everything just works. This photoshoot, as well as Tyra’s great photography skills, produced some really stunning picture. Two of the strongest pictures of the season, actually. There’s only one picture this week that I don’t really care for, though I don’t think that’s too bad. The execution was still pretty great. The elimination, also, was pretty decent. She was super overrated, and gave the same look basically every week. Her picture this week is so beautiful, however.

1) Allison

Allison FINALLY receives a first call-out from me, and I couldn’t be more happy for her. She worked the hell out of this photoshoot, and delivered such a perfect picture. Allison’s bird-like features definitely came in handy for her this week. She looks like a baby bird coming out of its nest for the very first time in its life, and I’m living for it. Her wide eyes, along with the extreme makeup, look great. The way she’s working with her hair, the nest, and her body is perfection, as well. I love how she’s squatting down, yet still looks fairly tall and modelesque. Da bitch’s body looks FLAWELESS, just like her face. Possibly picture of the season? We’ll find out eventually, I’m sure~

2) Celia (Eliminated)

Another girl who delivered their best picture of the season. Love this picture an exceptional amount as well, though Allison’s picture was just too iconic to rank lower than first. Okay, okay, I know I’ve given a lot of crap to Celia in previous weeks, but credit where credit is due – this picture is stunning. There’s absolutely nothing I dislike about this picture, and that’s a very first for Celia. Her features look very defined and bird-like, like Allison’s. She worked the hell out of the nest and big hair, just like Allison too. i love how her legs look here, and that outfit is very cute looking, in my opinion. Sure, Celia’s elimination didn’t bother me that much, but why eliminate her the week she delivered her best picture of the season? It doesn’t make sense at all.

3) Teyona
This is a very pretty picture, but that’s about it. It’s a good picture, I suppose, but it’s not very memorable. This picture pales in comparison to that of Allison’s and Celia’s. Either way, I think Teyona’s face looks really nice here. I think she’s delivered stronger faces in prior weeks, but I think she looks very beautiful here. I don’t exactly care for how dark her hair looks in this picture though. As well as that, her body doesn’t interest me very much. I do like her body, but she’s not doing very much with it. She could have showed a bit more shape or something, like Allison, but unfortunately she didn’t. Plus, the bump on her back is a bit distracting, especially when the judges only focused on that when critiquing this picture.

4) Aminat

The photography in this picture is literally magic. I’m legitimately orgasming over how great Tyra captured this picture. It’s flawless. Having said that, the photography in this picture is really the only thing I love about this picture. Aminat, by herself, doesn’t look too hot here. Her body does look great, but I think it’s a bit pornographic, though I blame her boobs practically popping out more so for that. The very worst thing about this picture this week is Aminat’s face. SHOCKER. Well, not really. For some reason, Aminat can never deliver magic in pictures with her face, and I will never know why. She’s just not that photogenic, I guess. But yeah, this was the worst picture of the week bar none. Aminat certainly deserved the boot this week, but she was saved once again.

WEEK 9

What the actual **** is this photoshoot? Oh, now it makes sense – this photoshoot was taken by Nigel Barker! Yikes, that does explain everything though. I really hate the concept of modeling on a beach with a bunch of tourists. I don’t get it. Why couldn’t the production spend all the money they paid for having the tourists in these pictures for a good quality photographer, and a more interesting setting? For God’s sake, are these girls in Brazil or Jersey? I just can’t deal with this. So, moving on, the elimination this week was a huge step up from last week’s. Didn’t care for the girl that much, modeling and personality wise. Glad she went, should have been cut a bit sooner, but it’s whatever, as long as she didn’t win.

1) Teyona

This picture is pretty stunning. Super glad we’re able to see both of Teyona’s arms this week. Makes me love this picture even more, haha. There’s only one turn off about this picture for me, which is – why is it that Teyona is the only one posing in the foreground in her respective picture? She’s obviously going to standout for being in the foreground, though I will say that the guy next to her is giving her a lot of competition for who looks better. But whatever, I don’t mind the fact she’s basically the only girl in the foreground this week that much. This is still a really stellar picture. Her body looks very great, highly fit. She looks like a model, definitely. Love her face too. She could have tilt her head down a tad bit, but great face nonetheless.

2) Allison

I find Allison a bit overrated again this week, but holy hell, who would have thought she could have pulled something like this off so well? Who would have thought Allison could look hot and sexy? Most of all, who would have thought Allison actually had an ass?! This picture is a huge shocker for me. The only things that could make this picture better would be if she was directly in the foreground, or if she wasn’t modeling with that fat guy in the blue trunks. Ew. I give her credit for looking all flirty and girly, however. I love everything she’s doing with her body. The way she’s looking over her shoulder is amazing too. Love the mermaid-esque, long hair. She’s doing the same duck face expression she does a lot of the time, but it kinda works here. Good picture.

3) Aminat

Another decent picture, and a HUGE step up from Aminat. This may be Aminat’s best in weeks, but it’s still pretty far away from being the best of the week. This photoshoot was Aminat’s to nail, to be honest, considering her stunning body, but she didn’t knock it out of the park like I thought she would have. Her body looks good, in which is usually does, but it’s not really spectacular. Hell, Allison’s body looks better than Aminat’s does this week, which does say something. I don’t really care for how she’s turning her body, because it makes her lose her arm, but I do love Aminat’s legs here, as well as her radiant skin. Her face is also really pretty, in my opinion, though it does kinda mimic her expression last week. That’s the only flaw I can find with her face though.

4) Celia

Okay, now we’re at the very, very, very bad pictures this week. If it weren’t for Fo’s picture being the worst of the season, this would have been dead last easily. Celia’s pose this week is absolutely atrocious. Why one would ever pose like that, I will never understand. It’s all too much for me. Without looking at how disgusting her pose is, her body does look fairly good, though. Her legs look good, as does her stomach. But then you come to the arms, and the picture just plummets to atrocity. Her face isn’t very good either, but it is a step up from her body. It lacks life completely, and she still looks aged by a few years, but everything and anything is better than that pose.

5) Fo (Eliminated)

Oh wait.. I take that back. Every single thing about this picture is worse than Celia’s pose in her picture. Having said that, what kind of sabotage is this? Like wtf. Not even Fo could take a picture this awful. I have utterly no clue what she’s doing with her arms, firstly, though that’s the least of the problems with this picture. Why does she look three feet tall here? Why is her foot in the sand? Where in the hell did her neck go? Why does her face look that ugly? There’s so many unanswered questions for this picture. I’m completely and utterly positive that this wasn’t Fo’s best photo on set. I mean, she didn’t do that good on set, but seriously, what the hell is this ugliness?

WEEK 8

Okay, I lied, I think I am kinda getting tired of this season. It’s probably just because my absolute favorite model of the season was cut this week, but then again this cycle is one of the worst cycles, so it could really be anything. Speaking of which, I HATE THE ELIMINATION SO DAMN MUCH. I’ve been stanning for this girl since the very beginning, so I’m sure that gives away who was eliminated to those who don’t know. Yeah, well, these judges suck. There was nothing bad with her picture. It was not even in the slightest elimination worthy. I’ll rant at a later time, so let’s just discuss this photoshoot as a whole. The girls traveled to Brazil, and there first photoshoot was in the slums of Brazil. Meh. I would have preferred a high fashion bikini photoshoot in Rio Grande or something. Haha, like ANTM could afford that.

1) Natalie (Eliminated)

LOL. Okay Tyra and the rest of the judging panel. You call this the worst picture of the week? Really? Jesus Christ, open your damn eyes then.. PLEASE. This picture is very far from being bad. It’s the best of the week for me by a huge mile actually. Yes, I get that Natalie looks nothing like Carmen Miranda here, but I really don’t care, because majority of the girls this week don’t even look like Carmen Miranda. The expression is a bit opposite from that of Miranda’s pictures usually too. I definitely think happiness before anger when thinking of Carmen Miranda, so I guess Natalie just didn’t know who she was or something. But I digress.. This picture still isn’t bad! Her body is sickening. HER LEGS ARE INSANE. I wish we could see her legs bare. The way she’s sitting is so perfect too. Perfect ass posture.. Goodbye judges.

2) Allison

WUT?! I didn’t rank this picture of Allison first? Ermergerd, what a shock. Legit, I don’t get why everyone loves this picture so much. Yes, it’s pretty nice, and not bad at all, but it’s not absolutely stellar. She looks really beautiful, and I can somewhat see Carmen here, but that’s really about it. Everything else is very uninspiring for me, especially her pose. The leg against the wall is very catalogue looking. I know that Allison can pose more creatively, but she didn’t unfortunately. Now, to her face – I see practically no change from prior weeks. The only difference is that she has her mouth open this week. I would have actually preferred if she had her mouth shut though, haha. It’s a good picture, yeah, but I was expecting more from Allison.

3) Teyona

This is really gorgeous. At first glance, I was all ready to rank this above Allison’s, but Teyona’s arm is completely missing here, and that’s a pretty big problem for me, because it makes this picture look so off. That aside, though, her body is pretty banging. Her legs look long, as does her torso. I love how toned her midsection looks as well. Oh, and that face.. PERFECTION. Teyona looks so beautiful and so soft. Kinda interesting how rough and harsh Teyona can look in motion, yet deliver a picture this pretty. She’s working it, really, just that missing arm bothers me so much. Where did it even go now that I’m really looking at it? Lmao.

4) Celia

BLAND. Nothing at all great about this picture. It’s highly uninteresting, and.. I don’t know what else to say. Uninteresting describes every single aspect within this picture. Her face looks uninteresting, as does her body. She’s doing nothing that sets this picture apart from the others this week. It’s not heinous, but it’s not very good either. It’s meh, mediocre, average – something Celia is practically every week. Her body looks decent. The crossed legs is a bit of a turn off, but she does look tall and fairly fit. Her faces, on the other hand, is giving me absolutely nothing. Her expression is so blank and clueless looking. You think of so many happy emotions when looking at Carmen Miranda, but this picture is just sad…

5) Fo

Okay, now THIS is Carmen Miranda. However, what the hell, Fo? She did manage to match the theme perfectly, but still – what the hell is up with this picture? She looks so damn short, it’s not even funny. The pose, as well, is a bit of a mess. She’s really overposing. Like, this is kinda overkill. She could have just smiled at the camera, stood up straight, and I would have ranked this a place higher. Her proportions look so off. I’m really not liking this picture. Beautiful face, definitely, but just no. This doesn’t work very much. In any other week, this would have been dead last for sure.

6) Aminat

Oh. This is just not good. Literally, I have absolutely no clue what what going on in Aminat’s mind when posing like that. A model, for one, should never bend towards the camera, because it makes there torso look short. Second of all, that pose is soooo nawt good. It’s very modeling 101, but like the ratchet kind of modeling 101. Hands on the hip is one thing, but why did she have to put one of her hands on her upper thigh. It’s rather hoochy looking, really. Her face, also, is kinda hoochy looking. It looks like she’s trying to arouse ten different guys at once or something. The only thing I like about this picture is Aminat’s legs. This week, Aminat should have been eliminated. She’s been given enough chances now.

WEEK 7

I like this photoshoot to an extent. It’s not very memorable or fashionable really, but I think many strong shots were produced this week, which is the true reason why I think I like this photoshoot so much. The whole tangled in wires concept could have turned out seriously messy, but I commend majority of the girls for pushing through and delivering pretty nice and neat pictures. Having Ciara pose with them was also kinda cool, I suppose. I thought some of the shots were a bit overload though. Like, I don’t think it was necessary for the fans at the bottom of each pictures, just because there’s already two people in each respective picture, as well as a crap load of wire. The elimination, now, was decent. I think she deserved to go, because she just got worse and worse ever since the first week.

1) Natalie

Love this. I enjoy this picture so much because of how much strength there is between her face and body here. That face is so powerful. The expression matches the darkness of the stage and background for the picture, and I think it works perfectly. Her features look more defined than ever, and she’s working the hell out of that messy hair. I do believe her body is not as great as her face, though it’s still really strong. How she’s presenting her body is really nice. Her limbs look really long. Her midsection is a bit thick looking, but I don’t think she looks too thick, so it’s not that much of a problem for me.

2) Fo

Looky here, Fo delivered a good picture once more! I kinda forgot how amazing some of Fo’s really strong pictures were in the competition. I think I just overlook some of her strong pictures, because of how many mediocre pictures she has. Anywho, going back to this picture, Fo’s body looks quite amazing. She looks a tad bit short, of course, she is 5’7 after all. But other than that, I love her body an exceptional amount. The shape she’s making with her body is stunning. I love the – as Tyra would say – booty tooch. Also, I love how she’s sorta almost trying to get out of the wire, instead of just modeling within it. Fo’s face too looks beautiful. Not as good as her body per se, though still strong. She’s wearing the heavy makeup nicely.

3) Teyona

Another really good picture, though I think Teyona’s picture is missing something both Natalie and Fo’s have, which is energy. Sure, Teyona doesn’t look dead or even close to that, but their respective pictures excite me while Teyona’s doesn’t really. Her face looks great as usual, however. I really appreciate the shape of her face, as well as her cheekbones here. She also carries the dark makeup nicely. Her body is nice too, I guess. She lengthened herself, and does look skinny, but that’s about it. Her pose is a bit boring, because all she’s doing is holding a crap load of wire in her one hand. That’s basically the only reason I ranked Teyona third, as opposed to first.

4) Allison

So overrated, I can’t even bare it. Legit, I hate that people actually think this picture is the best of the week, because it’s really far from being it for me. Yes, her face does look flawless basically, but her face still looks a bit similar for me when comparing it to prior weeks. I like the expression on her face though. Kinda mimics that of Natalie’s, so I of course really like it. However, as opposed to Natalie’s picture, Natalie is posing nicely, and her body still looks good.. but well, Allison’s body doesn’t. Her pose is so damn basic it’s not even funny. She’s doing practically nothing, and she looks stiff as hell. I get that her face is probably the second best of the week, but her body is one of the worsts of the week.

5) Celia

Oh, wait, Celia’s face looks awfully familiar! Does it not? Seriously, I’ve seen this same expression from Celia like two or three times now, and it’s getting so boring. The frustration from her expression doesn’t make her look any younger; it actually ages her greatly. Yup, nothing new, she looks aged again. Her cheekbones and jawline do look very impressive, I will say, though. I kinda like her body too, actually. It’s relatively stiff, but I kinda dig what she’s doing with her left arm. I really like how she’s holding the wire with that arm. I would have liked to see her do something with her right arm as well though.

6) Aminat

Another poor performance from Aminat. Really, this girl should be knocking every single photoshoot out of the park, but she’s not, and it’s unfortunate that all that amazing potential is just going to waste. This picture is very uncomfortable look, firstly. It looks like this picture was taken while Aminat was trying to position herself into a pose or something. Speaking of pose, what the hell is going on with her body? She’s showing no length or anything, which is just one of the great things about her. Her face, just like her body, is caught in the moment, and not the good kind of caught in the moment. Her face looks blank. She looks like a deer caught in headlights. I see no emotion, no expression. She does look beautiful, but c’mon, she always looks beautiful.

7) London (Eliminated)

This is really bad. Far worse than Aminat, in my opinion. I’m sure I’m the only one who thinks this is the worst picture of the week, but there’s just nothing good about this picture. London, just like Aminat, looks so uncomfortable in this picture. However, unlike her picture, there’s no redeeming qualities about this picture. Like, London does not look very attractive here. She looks smooshed, despite being sat up. I don’t know what she’s doing with her arms either. Her legs look nonexistent too. But worst of all, what the hell is going on with her face? What the hell happened? Her face used to be her very best feature.. that was until she started gaining weight. Yeah, I for one am not upset with London’s elimination. It was well-deserved.
